Passionate about helping you drive change
Have you ever felt like something you're passionate about could be done differently?
After over a decade in corporate environments, I found myself asking that question. While I loved the wins – working on multi-million-dollar projects, collaborating with amazing people and driving performance goals – I realized something was missing. The pandemic magnified this feeling, as though the corporate spaces that shaped me were no longer meeting the evolving needs of our communities.
At first, this was a tough realization. But as I connected with communicators and business owners across Canada, I became certain that the solution lay in people-focused, community-driven approaches. This required a lot of listening, along with my favorite things: writing and speaking!
Being deeply involved in my community, I also wanted to find a way to contribute to its economic growth.
Now, I run my own business, where I get to live out this mission. I offer stories, strategies and support – whether through writing, speaking or sometimes, just listening. I love what I do and I'm proud to work with incredible clients and partners, driving purpose and creating impact.
I was honored to have been included on Women We Admire's '2023 Top 50 Leaders in Vancouver' list and The Peak’s ‘Emerging Leaders of 2022’ list, as well as several podcasts and conference talks, but you can find more of that on LinkedIn.
When I’m not working, I’m mentoring young women at the Prosperity Project, bench-pressing at Strong Side Conditioning, drinking lattes at Serious Coffee, buying berries at the New Westminster Farmers Market, indulging in banana fudge ice cream at Rocky Point Ice Cream, or beekeeping with the New Westminster Beekeepers Association. I also serve on the City of New Westminster’s Economic Development Advisory Committee, occasionally walk kids to school through the Walking School Bus initiative, and volunteer with Barks N' Brews, an ethical puppy adoption organization.
